Vendor
Referral Membership Application
The Sun City Home Owners
Association (SCHOA) Vendor Referral Program provides a valuable service
to our members. By becoming a member of our program, your name will be
given out to our members who call requesting services in your trade
category. We give out three names and numbers to our members at a
time, and encourage our members to call all three of the service
providers to get estimates for services they may need. Our members
report back to us regarding the services provided so we can share these
good comments with other members.
The number of referrals you get
through our office will depend on how many vendors are currently
registered with us for your specific trade category. Even if we have
several vendors registered in one category, we get so many requests for
vendors that you will find your name is given out frequently.
Our Vendor Referral Program is
only available to members of SCHOA. Many of our residents depend on our
referrals to get good service providers who are trustworthy and
pleasant.
Our membership fee to become a
Vendor is $35.00 per year, a very reasonable cost to your business for
the referrals you will receive. This membership fee allows you to be
registered under one trade category. If your company provides services
under more than one category, you can be registered as a Vendor under
additional categories for $5.00 more per category, per year.
We also have a Gold Plus
sponsorship. This additional designation does not cost any additional
fee to you, but in agreeing to be a Gold Plus sponsor, you must agree to
give a 5% discount to a member of SCHOA. The advantage to a business in
being a Gold Plus sponsor is that when we give out the three referral
names, members will often choose to call those that are Gold Plus
sponsors. If you agree to be a Gold Plus sponsor, you simply sign
(where indicated) on the
membership application form.
Once a year, you will receive a
renewal for membership. Please make sure that you update our office
with any address or phone change while you are a member. We strongly
suggest if you get a call from one of our members, that you call them
back as soon as possible. One of the big complaints we often receive
from members is that they leave messages for a vendor who either does
not call back, or they take several days to return a call. As a
registered vendor, we suggest that if there is a time when you cannot
take referrals, you become ill or unable to work, etc., you simply let
us know so we can hold referrals for your business until you are
available.
We thank you for your support of
our Vendor Referral Program. Please give us a call if you have any
questions, or need further information. Deanna and Janet are the
Administrative Assistants who handle the Vendor Referral Program. Please
direct any correspondence or questions to either of them directly.
